Temporary Mind and Brain V badge to be used for a free bus ride (bus No. 6) from the Pile station to the Dubrovnik President Hotel will be emailed to all Mind and Brain V participants next week.

Registration starts Sunday, September 17, 2006 at 16:00 at the Dubrovnik President Hotel.

Opening ceremony starts at 19:00.

Please contact us if you have not received your registration and, where applicable, fellowship and/or dormitory, confirmations.

ABSTRACTS were up-dated.

Up-dated PROGRAM schedule will be posted in few days.

Notifications regarding registration, fellowships, dormitory, and the program will be send to all who 
pre-registered for the MIND AND BRAIN V early September instead of mid August. 

PROGRAM

Preliminary Program Schedule has been posted together with the abstracts of the invited review/tutorial and symposia presentations as well as the accepted poster and oral presentations. 

Poster board dimensions: 1 m width, 2 m height. 

TRAVEL

FREE CITY BUS transportation for Mind and Brain V participants
Thanks to the City of Dubrovnik arrangements have been made with the Libertas bus company for free bus transportation to and from the Dubrovnik President Hotel for the duration of the meeting. The Mind and Brain V badge is your free ticket for bus rides! 

A temporary badge for the first ride from the Pile station to the Mind and Brain V venue will be emailed to all participants in September. Please print a copy of that badge (color or B/W) and present it to the bus driver (BUS No. 6). 

Please note that bus transfer from the Cilipi Airport to the Pile bus station is operated by a different company and costs 35 kunas.

REGISTRATION 

ALL PRE-REGISTERED Mind and Brain V participants who made a bank transfer or provided credit card info via fax ARE CONSIDERED REGISTERED participants. 

Registration confirmations will be emailed to all after August 10, 2006.
 

FELLOWSHIPS

The number of the awarded IBRO fellowships increased from 4 to 5.

All Croatian fellowship award (IUC-MZOS and CRO Parliament) recepients will be notified mid August.
 

PROGRAM

Up-dated Program Schedules are expected to be posted after August 15 and September 10.

All accepted abstracts will be presented as posters. Some of them will be selected for  oral presentation too. Authors of the selected abstracts will be notified by mid August.
 

ACCOMMODATION

For the registered Mind and Brain V participants who did not make their accommodation reservations by the deadline, Sales Department of the Babin Kuk hotels will give their best to accommodate or transfer requests to the travel agency for further assistance. Those that prefer dormitory accommodation are advised to contact us at mb5@brain.hr.

- Croatian Parliament support will allow for 7 new FELLOWSHIPS for Croatian participants.

- EXTENDED DEADLINE for early registration, abstract submission, and fellowship application: JUNE 25, 2006

- EXTENDED DEADLINE for accommodation reservations: 
  JULY 15, 2006.

Early reservation is highly recommended.
